Hepworth Building Products sources its material from neighbouring quarries, which is then used to make clay pipes of varying diameters within its energy efficient roller kilns. The pipe material can be reused and recycled in manufacture and it is well known that clay has stood the test of time.
All Hepworth Drainage Products are manufactured under a quality management system which is approved to BS EN ISO 9001:2000. All their drainage manufacturing sites operate Environment Management Systems which comply with the requirements of, and are certified to, BS EN ISO 14001 (Certificate numbers EMS71221, EMS79968 and EMS77181). Hepworth is fully committed to sustainability and has become one of the first companies in its sector to be awarded BS EN ISO 14001.
Where appropriate products have been assessed and certified for performance in use by the British Board of Agrément. The certification schemes demonstrate ability to manufacture to high quality standards.
SRENGTH – clay pipes are not dependent upon bedding material for structural support and have the ability to withstand high imposed loads.
