Tim Pollard
Head of Sustainability
Tim was not only responsible for delivering the finished facility but also heads the team which is defining Wolseley's sustainable product offer and its commercial exploitation.
Prior to this appointment Tim was Head of Marketing for Wolseley UK. His 20-year career in merchanting has included experience in all sectors of the construction market. Prior to Wolseley Tims career included working with Hoechst and a 3 year spell working in Sweden. His experience covers the complete gamut of disciplines including; strategy, research, services, and e-commerce.
Tim believes passionately in the provision of sustainable construction solutions which are practical, effective and economic. He regularly speaks at industry seminars throughout the UK and is actively involved in activities within the local community especially involving young people.
He also describes himself as a Newcastle United supporter for 50 years, through thin and thin.
Chris Booker
Product Development Manager
Chris is responsible for defining the industrys most comprehensive range of sustainable, energy efficient, renewable and water saving construction products, ensuring these products are available to customers across the UK via Wolseley's network of 1600 branches.
His merchant career spans 20 years in a variety of roles including sales and category management. In particular Chris spent a number of years working with Government bodies and Power Companies driving demand for energy efficient products within the domestic heating market.
Chris is committed to providing customers with a one-stop-shop for sustainable construction ensuring Wolseley can provide a realistic and commercially sensible, environmentally friendly option throughout all sectors of the build process.
Siobhan Smith
Sales Manager
Siobhan supports customers, the Wolseley sales teams and branches with all sustainable product enquiries. Siobhan has a very customer focussed role and regularly works with clients to identify the most suitable sustainable options for their particular needs.
She joined the Wolseley graduate programme in September 2005 and has since worked in Plumb Center and the Environmental department. She has a degree in Biology and Geography and is looking forward to an exciting career in the ever increasing field of sustainability in construction.
