The Wolseley Sustainable Building Center is a fantastic resource for those in the construction industry to learn about new sustainable products and construction methods that are available today. Anyone involved in the built environment - from architects to developers, to construction workers - can benefit, and it’s exactly these sorts of initiatives that will help us make the transition to a more sustainable society.
Siobhan’s excellent presentation & detailed guided tour sparked some good open discussion during our Buyers Meeting; it clearly re-focused our minds on sustainability & what we, as material construction buyers, can do to help influence more sustainable alternatives in our future projects.
All excellent and very encouraging to know that a major merchant is so committed to sustainable construction and that we can specify these products knowing back up and support is so readily available.

The centre is a great showcase for seeing main stream sustainable construction products in action and clearly shows the commitment of Wolseley in taking seriously its role in the supply chain of sustainable construction products.
Whilst I found the lectures & guided tour of the building, with all its green initiatives, extremely interesting & very useful, it was the over-whelming feeling of support from your guys that is my lasting memory.
