Low Water Content CisternsLow Water Content Cisterns

The toilet is one of the largest users of water in the home. Generally, modern toilets use less water. Toilets plumbed before 1993 will probably have a cistern that uses 9.5 litres of water per flush. Toilets installed after 1993 will probably have a 7.5 litre cistern. If your toilet was installed between 1983 and 1992 it may have a dual flush cistern.
