Solarcentury Solar Electric Sunstation®

Application:

The domestic photovoltaic (PV) Sunstation® generates electricity from daylight. The system is commonly installed as a retrofit solution on top of existing tiles but can also be fitted to new buildings in place of conventional tiles. The range of PV panels available cater for all types of roofs and climatic conditions, transforming traditional buildings into miniature, clean power stations - in as little as one day.

Features:

· Very flexible, low cost design solution - using a range of panels the Sunstation can be adapted for almost any building and roof type

· Quick and easy installation - fixing solutions have been developed to aid rapid installation

· Requires no alterations to existing roof structure

· Uses high efficiency Sanyo or Suntech modules needing less than 6 square metres per kWp (kilowatt peak)

· Simple electrical connection - the Sunstation requires a single connection from the solar inverter to the household wiring

· Easily monitored - the Sunstation is supplied with an intelligent energy meter to monitor system performance and encourage energy efficiency

· Power output from the modules is guaranteed for at least 20 years

· Grant eligible technology
