Green Sedum Roofing System
There are several benefits of an Alumasc green roof which include;
- Control of rainwater: Green roofs can retain up to 90% of rainwater and provide slow and controlled water run-off, thereby reducing the load on the drainage system, and allowing much faster evaporation of accumulated moisture.
- Reduction of dust and smog: Green roof vegetation helps to filter out dust and smog particles. Nitrates and other harmful materials are filtered out of the air.
- Reduced noise levels
- Safe habitat for insects and birds
