Practice History
The practice was formed in 1993 by Roger Griffiths, and evolved from Ede Griffiths Partnership which was established in 1987. Roger Griffiths formerly worked in private practice in Lancashire, and also at Milton Keynes Development Corporation. As a fully qualified landscape architect, with over 30 years experience, he has won many awards.
Organisation
Roger Griffiths Associates comprises professionally qualified Landscape Architects, golf course architects, computer-aided design personnel, and supporting administrative staff. The business is based in an office in Rugby, Warwickshire, which by its central location readily enables us to undertake projects throughout the UK. We are within 30 minutes of Birmingham International Airport with easy access to overseas destinations. Fundamental to our practice approach is the aim to offer personal and consistently high quality service from a core team of dedicated staff, which we can combine with additional specialist resources when required.
Services
Our professional services include master planning, planning applications, planting design, golf courses, parks, children's play and sports areas, paving and features, indoor planting, sustaining design and expert witness appearance at appeals and inquiries.
Quality Assurance
The practice has gained certification for its quality management system in accordance with the International standard ISO9001. We were the first specialist landscape architects and golf course architects in the United Kingdom to achieve this internationally accepted quality standard, and Roger Griffiths now acts as a specialist expert assessor for third party accreditation of other organisations.
Clients
The practice works predominantly on multi-disciplinary projects for private clients, development companies and public corporations. The majority of our commissions result from referrals and recommendations from those with whom we work.
