At Wolseley SBC data security is one of our highest priorities, and we do our upmost to protect the data you provide. Access to all our user's information is restricted in our offices. Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job are granted access to personally identifiable information. The servers that we store personally identifiable information on are kept in a secure environment.

To help us keep this information confidential you should:

  • Never distribute the URL's for pages that you have looked at while logged in as a registered customer.

Credit card transactions:

For the transmission of personal and credit/debit card information, uses secure e-commerce technology. This includes 128-bit encryption, certified by GeoTrust, one of the world's most respected certification bodies for Internet firms.

The GeoTrust certificate does two things for you as a member:

  • It ensures that you are actually communicating with and not someone falsely representing themselves as
  • It encrypts the information exchanged between you and so that, for example, no one can intercept and read your debit or credit card number when you send it through

Credit/debit card information is never retained by after payment with the bank is processed. Instead, it is requested from you each time you purchase.

When you submit credit/debit card information, we encrypt your credit/debit card number, name, address and the date of the purchase when transmitting it to the bank for validation.

This information about your credit/debit card number is never stored by , but goes straight to the bank via our own data links with the bank.

These precautions, in addition to policies such as never keeping your credit/debit card information on our servers, ensure the ultimate in safe and secure online purchasing.
